Refund not received

Returned the item but no refund? Build a clear follow-up.

When a return has been sent but the money has not arrived, your follow-up should include return proof, dates and the refund amount expected.

Show the return timeline

List when the return was requested, when it was sent, when it was delivered or collected, and when the retailer said a refund would be processed.

Attach proof

Include return labels, proof of postage, tracking, collection receipt, emails, account screenshots and payment proof.

Ask for a specific resolution

State the refund amount, the original payment method and the date by which you want confirmation. Keep the tone firm but factual.

If the retailer keeps ignoring you

If you paid by card, organise the evidence before asking your provider what chargeback or other routes are available.
